St. Aidan's is actively involved in supporting the South Belfast Community Foodbank


Firstly a monthly monetary contribution, secondly a regular food collection from members of the congregation and thirdly our Community Outreach Worker Alison Shaw is part of a team operating out of Friendship House in Blythe Street., providing a service to the local community.
 This is open for food distribution every Thursday afternoon and also offers advice as to appropriate measures to improve life for those  who are having difficulties.
Food contributions are always welcome and can be left in Church on Sunday or given into Friendship House on Thursday afternoons.

South Belfast Foodbank is based at:
Mornington Community Project,
117 Ormeau Road, Belfast.
The opening times are:
Monday: 7pm - 8.30pm
Wednesday: 3.30 pm -5.30pm
Friday: 11 am - 1 pm
